Jennifer Aniston has once again spoken out against the relentless tabloid scrutiny and pressure for her to have a baby. She previously called out the constant harassment in an op-ed she wrote for the Huffington Post in 2016 and later, in a long interview with The Hollywood Reporter in 2021, she expressed, "You have no clue what’s going with me personally, medically, why I can’t … can I have kids?" Now, for the first time, the Friends star revealed to Allure magazine that she has been trying to conceive a child for years.
“I was trying to get pregnant. It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road,” says Aniston, to which reporter, Danielle Pergament responds that she had no idea, and Aniston assures her, “Yeah, nobody does... All the years and years and years of speculation... It was really hard. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it. I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’ You just don’t think it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed.” The actress also goes on to clarify, “I have zero regrets...I actually feel a little relief now because there is no more, ‘Can I? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe.’ I don’t have to think about that anymore.”

She continued, “I feel the best in who I am today, better than I ever did in my 20s or 30s even, or my mid-40s. We needed to stop saying bad shit to ourselves,” says Aniston, and says that she is going to be 65 one day and think she looked great at 53.
