Rozlyn Papa, who was kicked off “The Bachelor” on Monday’s episode, insists she didn’t “get any” from one of the show’s producers.
“There was no making out! Unfortunately, I did not get any out of this big sex scandal that supposedly happened,” Papa, 29, told Richmond, Virgina’s “Fisher in the Morning” radio show. “If I had known that I was going to get accused of it, maybe I would have gone for it!”
But the show’s host, Chris Harrison, who originally broke the news to Papa, tells People.com that he’s certain Papa had a physical relationship with a producer. In fact, the host says, there were witnesses to Papa’s crime. “Other girls on the show saw it,” Harrison says. “The producer confessed more than once [and] to more than one person. I cannot make it any clearer.”
He added, “We would never go to the lengths we did and take the steps we did, firing somebody and kicking someone off our show if we thought maybe something might be happening,” he says. “To think we would take these steps either just in make-believe or even on a hunch and open up ourselves legally like we have is just preposterous.”
Harrison denies speculation that “The Bachelor” execs wanted to give Papa the boot because she’s a mom. The rumor started when Papa told Radar Online that ABC promised she could bring her son to the show regularly, but then never followed through on that promise.
“The fact that she was a mom, not a mom, whatever, had nothing to do with the fact that she had a relationship with one of our producers and had to be kicked off the show, period,” Harrison tells People.
According to Radar Online, this isn’t the first time Papa has found herself in hot water. The Web site reports that the model and makeup artist had been arrested three times, twice for petty theft and once for underage alcohol possession.
