What do you do when you want to feel better about yourself?
Well, if you're famous, you can probably just Google pictures of yourself looking hot to boost the old self esteem.
And it appears that's exactly what Katy Perry did.
The singer took to Instagram to share a sexy image of herself.
In the pic, a smoldering Katy stares down the camera lense, showing off her enviable figure in a pair of tiny denim shorts and a bralet - with one strap falling off her shoulder.
There's no denying that she looks unbelievable in the picture.
But the screenshot reveals that Katy typed "katy perry hot" into Google to find the sexy pic.
She captioned it: "was feeling insecure about my last two posts so"
Her fans thought it was a clever way for Katy to boost her self esteem.
One commented: "Hot hot hot hot, i wish i could solve my insecure days by googling myself! I would probably get my own facebook page or some s****y old data base from college" [sic]
While others rushed to tell her how hot she is and to question how she can possibly have any insecurities.
Katy's worries came from her previous posts.
In one, Katy shared a series of screenshots of her having a Facetime conversation while having her jaw massaged and her face twisted into a variety of unflattering poses.
Alongside the snaps, she wrote: "WHEN UR ROLLIN CALLS WITH UR A&R BUT TRYING TO MASSAGE THE STRESS OUT YA JAW AT THE SAME TIME CAUSE EVERYTHING IS COMING TO A HEAD" [sic]
And the post before that was a little April Fool's joke.
Katy shared a throwback snaps, from a time before she was mega famous, pretending that it was the cover for her fourth album.
In the pic, a young shaggy-haired Katy is sitting at a computer desk and smiling for the impromptu photoshoot.
She's wearing shorts and a crop top and looks a lot different than she does nowadays.
"I'm proud to announce the cover for my 4th album!," she joked.
"Happy April Fools! Been plotting in the same type of sports bra from my IM and laminated calendar since 99'
