Days after raising eyebrows with the revelation that he has fathered 10 kids by eight different women, Antonio Cromartie is about to be a dad again - and again.

The New York Jets star's wife tweeted a sonogram image of two foetuses on Monday with the message: 'Identical twins run in my family'.

In another message on the site, Terricka Cason Cromartie clarified that the couple is indeed expecting twins in November.

Twins would give siblings to the two children Antonio, 28, already has with Terricka (Jurzie and Jagger), as well as the eight children he has with other women scattered across the U.S.

Terricka also has a son from a previous relationship.

The New York Post reported that the other mothers are willing to begin a reality show based on Cromartie's relationship with their children, but he refused.

The Jets cornerback now has more than enough children to field a football team – where each team has 11 players on the field at any one time.

Cromartie, who signed a four-year, $32million contract with the Jets last fall, has to pay more than $3,500 in child maintenance each month to six of the women he has fathered children with.

Last March the Jets had to pay the player a $500,000 advance so that he could pay outstanding child support.

Nevertheless the women – from California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and New Jersey – have come together as apparent friends and, no doubt, in hopes that the TV project will work.

Ryan Ross, who works in a hotel in Los Angeles, is the mother of Cromartie’s fifth child, son Tyler Jae, 4. 

They dated for about six months after meeting in a nightclub.

Ross is keen for the show to go ahead: 'Our kids need to know who their siblings are. It’s bigger than our past with Antonio. It’s about our children,’ she told the Post.

And she described the relationship between the other mothers as a ‘close tight-knit friendship’ where they understand exactly what each is going through and can 'vent' to one another.

Ex-beauty queen Rhonda Patterson, who has a three-year-old daughter named London with Cromartie, wrote a book about her relationship with the footballer.

In the memoir, Love, Intercepted, Patterson described how Cromartie cancelled their wedding a week before it was scheduled and ended their relationship when she was six-months pregnant.

Shortly after dumping Patterson, the cornerback wed Terricka Cason, his current wife who starred in Candy Girls - a reality TV show about scouting models.

Cromartie is step-father to her child from a former relationship.

He also has custody of his first child, Alonzo, now 7, whom he had with Rosemita Pierre.
