Orlando Bloom Wanted Katy Perry to Join Him in Nude Paddleboarding and She Was Like 'Oh, Nah'

Orlando Bloom tried to get his then-girlfriend Katy Perry in on the nude paddleboarding action.

“I’ve had lots of therapy about that,” Perry, 32, joked about the infamous photos Wednesday on The Kyle and Jackie O Show. “He asked me if I wanted to be [naked] and I just like – you know, it was one of those things where it was like ‘Oh, nah.’ ”

Bloom, 40, nearly broke the Internet last summer when naked pictures of the actor paddleboarding alongside Perry during the former couple’s Italian vacation leaked online. Perry told the radio show hosts that although Bloom let it all hang out, she decided to save her birthday suit for later.

“You know when you’re dating someone, sometimes it’s exciting to be like, ‘Oh, should we try and make out over here in this place?’ or what have you,” she began. “And I was just not in the mood. I saved it for the boat!”

The photos quickly caught the attention of Internet users everywhere, with social media goers weighing in on the explicit pictures.

“It was so funny because I was, kind of, explaining Twitter to him and social media,” Perry continued. “I had been explaining to him for a few weeks and all of a sudden, he’s like number one trending on Twitter.”

Bloom has managed to laugh off the incident, telling Elle UK that he simply “had a moment of feeling free.” And Perry joked to the radio hosts that her former beau was “trying to show off for all the people back at the shore.”

The “Teenage Dream” singer and the actor began dating back in January 2016, but ended their year-long relationship in February, with a statement from their reps revealing that the pair are taking “loving space at this time.”
