After being whacked with insecurity Katy Perry, has dealt with it the only way she knows how — by Googling “katy perry hot.”
Just after midnight Tuesday, the 32-year-old singer Instagrammed a super-sexy picture of herself in a push-up bra and thigh-skimming shorts, as she seductively looked into the camera while not so casually squeezing a lemon.
And while it’s not unusual for pop stars to post racy images of themselves, Katy admitted to fans she only did it because her last posts didn’t exactly hit the spot.
She captioned the image: “Was feeling insecure about my last two posts so,” and presumably left the Google Image search “katy perry hot” in the frame on purpose.
Fans found the quirky singer’s honest upload hilarious and flooded the picture with comments telling her so, and also nudging her to charge her phone.
It’s understandable why Perry’s previous posts had left her feeling insecure: Shortly before posting the sexy snap, she’d uploaded one of her receiving a jaw massage while her A&R tried to FaceTime her.
And the other was an old picture posted on April Fool’s Day in which she is scruffy and makeup-free in a sports bra and shorts.
At the time she joked: “I’m proud to announce the cover for my 4th album! Happy April Fools! Been plotting in the same type of sports bra from my IM and laminated calendar since 99′. It’s all about the long game…”
